Lynne Carole Lynne was quite happy as founder of Singing for the Soul and Quality Performance Coaching for public speakers and performers. Little did she know that in mid-life, the world of spirit would let her know that she had the ability to communicate with the spirits of loved ones who had passed over. As those in spirit began to communicate with Carole Lynne, she knew that she was receiving an awesome gift and sacred responsibility. For years she studied both in the United States and Europe to learn how to use her gifts responsibly. She has become a popular psychic medium working in many countries. In this book, she reveals for the first time teachings from other entities known as "My Guidance" and "The Energy." Lynne is also author of the award-winning books ConsultYour Inner Psychic, How to Get a Good Reading from a Psychic Medium, and Heart and Sound. She divides her time between Boston and Maui.

An Interview with Carole Lynne:

CaroleLynne 1. What was your biggest childhood ambition?
I wrote in my highschool yearbook: I want to be a writer.  At that time I was mostly working as a musician, had not started writing books and did not yet know I was a psychic medium.  Yes, I was psychic, but I had not yet seen the spirits of those who have passed over.

2. What is your fondest memory?
The birth of my two lovely children: first my daughter and three years later, my son.

3. What did you do for fun as a child?
I was a collector. I played outside in our Los Angeles neighborhood, and collected leaves, bottle caps and almost anything else I could find. I talked to the trees and loved it whenever I could go swimming.

4. What was your worst job?
When I was in my twenties, living in Greenwich Village and singing in the coffee houses, I also folded envelopes to make extra money. THAT was a horrible job!

5. If you had another occupation than the one you are in now, what would it be?
To be honest, I cannot think of anything I would rather be than a psychic medium, writer and musician. I am extremely blessed to do the work I do.

6. What inspired you to write?
My mother was a writer in the early days of TV. She wrote Bonanza, Maverick, and many shows for Playhouse Ninety.  I always saw my mother behind a typewriter.

7. What was your biggest challenge when writing this book?
The biggest challenge in writing Cosmic Connection: Messages for a Better World, was deciding what to leave out of the book. I had so much material that it became necessary to make hard choices about what to include.

8. What do you dislike about writing?
The editing process is very difficult and time consuming.  I had GREAT editors and accepted almost all of the suggestions that they made. But it is hard to rewrite and also hard to copyedit when you get to the point where you are looking for tiny spelling mistakes. Of course the copy editor does all that, but I always go over my manuscript several times because I don't want any mistakes in my books.

9. What book are you reading now?
I am reading books by Sri Aurobindo, the founder of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India. If you want to understand more about the ancient spiritual texts of India, read Sri Aurobindo.  If you want to know about an Ashram that does so much in the fields of education and science, learn about the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.  And most important, if you want to evolve spiritually, read the hundreds of books written by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

10. Where is your favorite place to write?
I have written most of my books in Maui, Hawaii.  My parents lived there most of my adult life, and Maui is second home to me.  When my parents passed to spirit, their house remained in the family.  When I am in the Boston area, which is most of the year, I am not able to do alot of writing. But when I get to Maui, the books just pour out of me.

11. If your best friend was a celebrity, living or dead, who would it be?
I would have liked to have known Mother Teresa. She did such great work for the world.
